::: UPDATE START ::: Also, the old PET-World Board will stay up a little longer, in order for our users to have enough time to move over. I will keep the board backed up once it is offline, for reference and if anyone forgot anything. ::: UPDATE END ::: I've integrated a chat into our PET-World Board, therefore the old chat will be deleted. I will redirect the link on here to the new chat inside our forums. However, if you were registered in the old PET-World Chat and NOT registered at our new Board, you'll have to register at our new boards as of now. (Link in the posts below) All of you who are already registered at the board, all you have to do is click on the Chat link located on the upper right navigation menu (next to FAQ, Members, Logout/Login) Greetz and enjoy, SayanOri |

It took us a long time. It took a lot of organizing and it was a pain to wait for those users who wanted to join our community and weren't able to due to the registration lock on the old boards. However, rejoice! The new PET-World Board is now fully functional and just waiting for everyone to re-register. Sadly, everyone has to re-register onto the new boards, in order for us to start blank and not take in all the old spammers. The Old boards will be online for a month, I kindly ask everyone to transfer/recreate their topics on the new boards, we took care of the main stickies. Alright guys, I know it's been a major while since I last posted something on here. But the following is really great. Our senior member Liam has developed a nifty little Windows Application. Well as all of you might've already heard. PET-World Board is yet again
moving onto a new script. We're still on my own server, just the script
is changing. That is due to us having so many spammers on this board.
We have more security on the new board and a whole new portal of
possibilities to combat spammers. I've already taken over most of the present topics to the new board. Once it launches I will give you all time to take over things from this board to the new one. I was also thinking of keeping this board as an archive, we'll see about that. Another thing I'd like to say is that ALL members will have to re-register on the new board. Since it is a new and different platform from the one we've been using. Furhtermore, I'd like to inform you that the new board is nearly finished. Two or three little visual details need to be fixed, a little fine tuning on the board permissions and then I need to tutor my staff with the new system and we're ready to launch. I'd like to launch it in February, I'm looking at something around the 20th? Maybe even earlier depending on how we (the Staff Team) work along. Thats all for now. |

I am sad to inform that the spammers on the PET-World Board have dealt us a fair amount of trouble. It's been too much for me to handle by myself. I'm thinking about restarting the forum, using another forum script, which certainly will cost a lot of time, but is one of the only possibilities there is. Another one is, having to validate new registrations one by one. I think we might as well try that, if the staff personnel is ready to do this with me. So for now registration to the board is impossible, which will stop new spammers from coming. Updates to follow. Greetz, SayanOri |
